Max Doc - Max Document Management
Max Document management simply offers enhanced document creation and storage
facilities for Maximizer. It is an ideal additional product for those
who use Maximizer Word Processor but who require the extra power of Microsoft
Word, which gives you additional functionality.
Benefits of Max Doc :
- Max Doc emulates in Microsoft Word all the menus in Maximizer’s
word-processor.
- What’s more is that Max Doc document templates in Word use the
same merge fields as in Maximizer’s word processor, making everything
familiar to a Maximizer user.
- The Max Doc filestore is a special feature, which allows documents
to be linked to your Maximizer document window, so that they are easy
to find in Maximizer, but will not cause your Maximizer database to
over-expand. The filestore is a managed area on your server where
files can be automatically stored by Max Doc.
- Max Doc supports the scanning of documents into Maximizer from an
industry-standard TWAIN scanner. It also has a Fax Inbox extension.
* This optional extra enables the user to store incoming fax messages
in Maximizer (not all fax systems are supported) .
MaxFeed
Max Feed provides facilities that de-duplicates companies in a Maximizer
database, where clients appear more than once. It can quickly identify
and remove duplicate companies. For example when imported data overlaps
with the existing data. Max Feed is the perfect tool to use when you:
- Import and merge data from bought-in mailing lists with an existing
Maximizer database.
- Import data from other corporate database to an existing Maximizer
database where a high overlap exists between the companies in each source.
- Build new Maximizer databases from mailing lists or other sources.
- De-duplicate companies in a Maximizer database.
Benefits of Max Feed:
- It uses a unique Fuzzy-Logic to identify whether one address is the
same as another. It cross-checks records, in order to identify duplicates,
which can be merged into one.
- Keyed Field Updating allows you to simply add a text UDF containing
your client’s customer account code to your Maximizer data, and
Max Feed can be used to regularly update their records. E.g. Updating
sales figures from your corporate accounts system.
ZetaFax
ZetaFax 7 is easy to use, and reliable fax server software. It can be
integrated with your existing IT system to provide an ideal faxing solution.
ZetaFax works with Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 95/98 and will
therefore fit comfortably in most environments.
ZetaFax e-mail gateway is an additional powerful feature within ZetaFax
7. It allows full integration with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Mail,
Lotus Notes, Lotus cc:Mail and Novell GroupWise, enabling you to send
and receive faxes as e-mail messages.
Automatic redialing and reconnection
A fax submitted by the fax client is queued at the fax server ready for
sending. The ZetaFax server will automatically send out any queued faxes.
If the fax lines are busy, ZetaFax server will redial automatically at
specified intervals. If during a transmission the line connection is lost,
ZetaFax reconnects and sends any remaining pages without any user intervention.
Send Quality Faxes
By using ZetaFax, the quality of the fax being sent is of much higher
quality than a manual fax transmission. ZetaFax eliminates scanning errors
which occur during manual faxing, giving the recipient a fax that has
a high quality feel to it.
Fax from applications
Prepare documentation in your everyday software applications (such as
Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc) and send it without the need of a fax
machine. You can even store documents and brochures as fax attachments
saving even more time.
Mass Faxing
Send documents to one or many recipients - send a brochure to your entire
customer list. Setting up faxes is simple using your own customer database
to supply the contact details.
